I’ve been constanstly looking for table clothes, I only have so much money to work with since the goverment is trying to say i owe so I don’t have a whole lot extra. Anyways the cheapest ive found were $5 dollars to rent some, problem she doesnt think she has that many but is suppose to email me back to let me know. Anyways my wedding is August the 11th, I have previously bought sage runners and really don’t know what a plastic table cloth would look like underneath. Im not paying a lot for my wedding, but i also dont want it to look cheap, if you get what i mean. Has anyone used plastic table clothes with a different material table runners and have a picture I can see?

@Shymama3: Its all about what you think and your style. For me, I looked into using kraft paper as a tablecloth or wrapping paper and finally decided on cloth table coverings. The paper will get wet and messed up, but you can find brides selling tablecloths on craigslist for ~$5 each and then you can sell them. Just make sure and buy white or black or something popular like damask.Only thing is at that price, the most likely won’t be floor length.
Or, you can buy cheap organza f/ like 20 cents per yard on gifts intl and just cover the main tops. Check thrift stores and various resale threads for vintage or old tablecloths. Maybe ask nearby hotels if you could have or buy their old tablecloths.
Actually, if you’re interested I have some various vintage ivory, white, tan tablecloths. Most of them are about 60 x 100 in. If you’re interested in seeing some pics PM me. Shipping from NY to Canada might be expensive though.

Use this search engine to check all Canadian craigslist ads:
You might pay more than $5 each but you will recoup most of your money when you sell them after the wedding.
