I went to a wedding fair, and entered in the draws. I won a package where some ladies from a spa come to my place and give me and my bridesmaids/wedding party a free “spa” treatment. I’m not sure to be honest exactly what they’re going to be doing, but its basically a small thing with hopes we may use them for the wedding etc etc.
My issue is, I’m not sure what to tip them?? I know it was a prize that I won, but at the same time they’ll be at my house for a few hours giving free stuff. I suppose I will have to make the call when I figure out what extent they will be doing the “free” stuff? Any ideas? I don’t want to give too much and also don’t want to give too little!

I would tip based on the value of the services they perform as if you had to pay retail for them.
Do some research locally to see what the prices are for various sevices so you can be prepared.

Honestly, in my book free is free. They get an extended advertisement in your home, and you get pampered while having salespeople fawn over you. I wouldn’t tip unless I knew I was going to be using them later on.
However, I’ve never claimed to be any good at etiquette.

i would tip for sure! it would be rude not too! do like %15 of what the service would be, like julies said do some research to see prices! but really im sure they would be happy with anything!

I am in the same situation and was wondering the same thing! I think I’ll tip like 5 dollars. I don’t know the value of the services, but mine is a Mary Kay lady who is treating me to a ‘spa hands’ (whatever that is) and a free mary kay product. So, I think mine is more trying to sell her services than give a spa experience. I’m really not sure though. I guess I’ll see!
