I’m with bradybride – I’d go with a soft gray that has blue undertones.  Look up Benjamin Moore Feather Gray – it is the perfect color (in my opinion!).

You can get samples of paint and see how you like them before committing!  I highly recommend doing that.

Yes, get a sample first. We did that this past weekend for painting our kitchen. I painted just a tiny bit on one small area of a kitchen wall and knew instantly, the color was wrong (too light) so we went and bought the color that was one or two shades darker. Samples are great!
