ah i just went browsing wedding bands last night!  I too have a BIG crush on rose gold and I’m torn on the channel set common looking ring that would match my band, or a more vintage looking ring that doesn’t match, but I think it gives it a more unique look… different from the norm.

I think the ring you put photos of is GORGEOUS and if you love it, then that’s the one.  You have to wear these rings for the rest of your life (hopefully!)  so pick on that makes you happy and that you love… Just try and make sure its one you can imagine loving for the long haul… that’s my only concern… is that I’m loving rose gold and its the trend right now, but will I still love my mismatching rings in 10, 20, 30 years?

Do what YOU like. If you can afford two bands, get two bands!

I think if you love this band and it is within your means, do it. Plus, if you want a simple one for working out, outdoor activities, etc., they are not that expensive. For instance, I’m not sure just how “simple” you want to go, but I just bought a 2mm 10k gold band for $65! A 14k is about $85 so you definitely have some options. ๐Ÿ™‚

@AttorneyGirl:  Oooh that is one beautiful ring!  Where did you find that beauty?

To address your questions, I’d totally rock rings on different hands if I really loved a ring that couldn’t fit with my e-ring!  I really wanted this thick Kwiat ring and was considering doing this. ๐Ÿ˜‰

In the end, I decided to go with a more “traditional” ring for my wedding band that can go with my e-ring (or go alone for errands and such..), WITH the promise that I will still get that beautiful thick band as my anniversary band one day..

I don’t ever think it’s bad to buy a ring or 2.. or 5.. It’s only foolish if finances don’t really allow for it haha!

    1.  What do you think of the band? I’ve recently developed a “crush” on rose  gold.

I think the band you picked is very pretty!  I would totally wear it by itself as a wedding band.

    2.  Do you think it’s stupid to buy a band that you can never wear with your  E-ring?

Not stupid at all because that’s exactly what I did ๐Ÿ™‚

    3.  Do you think it’s okay to have another wedding band which can be worn  with Engagement Ring and on days when I just want to wear something simple?

I have 3 seperate “wedding” bands so I mix and match all the time.  Granted, I’ve been married over 10 years so I’ve accumulated them over time ๐Ÿ™‚  However, I did get a diamond band when I got married then a plain white gold band shortly thereafter.  I know lots of women that have different bands so I say go for it!

That ring is gorgeous! I would probably keep this one but also get like a thin pave diamond band to pair with your e ring.

@AttorneyGirl:  I love it and I think you should get both. Get eg this and a really thin rose or white metal band to wear with your e-ring or hell, with the fancy band, stacked, if you feel like it! I like the idea of having your Fiance use them both at the ceremony ๐Ÿ™‚

As an aside … do you feel like most of the females at your workplace wear only bands? I’ve noticed that (I’m an attorney too).

@AttorneyGirl:  Interesting. Well, if I were you I would get the thick band and wear it to work. I really think that’s what I might do too. The band I love doesn’t really go with my e-ring …

    Engagement Ring:

Potential band (which I would wear alone):

I think the band is beautiful with your engagement ring.  But then again, I love the look of stacked bands (think Kate Beckinsale rings)
