You can have black tablecloths with gold and or pink napkins and keep the centerpieces the way you said using cadelabras to bring in the candlelight.

I thin either color combination would be pretty, but navy is unique. They are both dark and the light will shine nicely.

This is the standard pic of my reception venue.  I assume it was a wedding…

Navy would look softer.  Ask your guy if he has an opinion.  Ask your BMs/MOH about the dress – would THEY prefer a black dress or a pink dress or a long navy dress?  (One of my BMs LOVED the navy dress I initially had picked – which is kind of swaying my revised theme.  She keeps her navy dress, and the others are put in purple, apple red and holly green.)

@Mrs. Cooper: SO you don’t seem to like long pink or navy dresses now, lol What’s another accent color? Maybe like champagne or something?
