Hunter was mentioned early in this thread, but that came to mind quickly.

The other name is Buck.  I don’t particularly care for it, but I think it fits what you asked for.

Gentry is the opposite of Western/Country, please don’t name your child that.

What about Halston as a compromise for Hudson?

Another vote for Logan here.  I like the fact that you do not hear it often And only a few bees have suggested it.

I love this thread! I wish I’d had this 16 years ago when I was naming my son. U.K. Names are soooooo boring. I wanted my son to be called Presley but ex husband wouldn’t agree so we compromised on aaron (can you tell I’m a huge Elvis fan?! Lol!) but Colton or Hudson would’ve been amazing!  I will store these names up as suggestions for future grandchildren! 😉

Mrs.D :  fyi you can search baby names by state, Google “baby names by state” and I think it’s on social security website.. you can see the top names in your state each year and how many people in your state were named that.. so just because, say, (totally random example, not sure its even thr right #) Emma, is the #2 name in the U.S. doesn’t mean there will be 15 emmas in their class. It might be popular in. 30 states but in your state it might be the #60 name and only 7 people were named that. Check it out. It’s quite handy 🙂
