I think it looks good, but I would do more than 30 minutes of first look/couple portraits and less than an hour of bridal party photos.  Maybe reverse the time allotted for those?

My wedding started at 6, and we started our hair appointment at 10am.

Our wedding is at 6pm and we are starting hair at 10am (but I only have 3 bridesmaids). I don’t think it’s too early!

My wedding is at 6:30 and starting hair/makeup at 10! It seems so crazy.

it will not take an hour to get dressed and your photographer can take photos of detail items in about 10 minutes while you are getting dressed and then come take photos of the major moments like the final zip up or buttoning or whatever. You can easigot move the hair and makeup back an hour at least.

Here was my timeline.  We didnt have a first look, so you’d want to add in an extra 30 for that, but we got tons of pictures and had lots of time. We weren’t rushed at any moment And I walked down that aisle at 5:30 on the dot.

My wedding starts at 5 pm and we are also doing photos before the ceremony. My coordinator and make-up/hair people have us starting hair and make up at 8 am. I have 6 bridesmaids.  This is all going to be done at my hotel and the venue is right next door, so we don’t need to drive anywhere.

I guess if you go to a salon multiple people will be working on all of you?  It would make sense for you to start a little later. I only have 1 make-up artist and 1 hair person coming to my hotel.

Here is a general look of my schedule:

8 am Hair and make-up

1:30 pm photog arrives

2 pm “getting ready” photos start

3 pm bridal party & family photos

3:30 pm first look

4:30 return to venue
