- Wedding: May 2012
I’m having more trouble then I ever thought I would… basically I want to include in a pocketfold the invitation, information enclosure, rsvp, rsvp envelope.
My wedding is considered a destination wedding. It will be a 1 to 2 hour drive for most. I’ve invited some guests that would be flying in. I want it to be a weekend celebration with family and close friends, so I’m planning for about 60 people. The ceremony and reception are both at the Inn. I’ve reserved the inn for Friday and Saturday night. I want to encourage people to stay at the Inn. Some might decide to drive home to save money on the accommodations. There are 24 rooms and some guests will be sharing rooms. If all the rooms are not reserved I will be charged an additional fee.
I would like to have the rehearsal Friday around 6 pm then have an informal cookout which can include any guests that want to come up Friday night. Some of my friends have mentioned spending Friday and Saturday night at the Inn.
My questions are:
I want to include rehearsal information for the bridal party (which would need an additional enclosure). I also want to include the option of any of the guests attending the information dinner Friday night. How do I include this information without too many enclosures?
I’ve thought about including information about the option to come to the Friday night dinner. Then add to the RSVP if they plan to come Friday night for the cookout. I need to know how much food for the caterer to prepare.
Another wording issue I’m having is for the reception dinner. I wanted to have 3 choices but to try to cut costs I was thinking I would only include chicken and fish option. Then also include a line for any special dietary requirements. If anyone is vegetarian (which I expect to only a few) they can include that information there.
I’ve looked online for examples but can’t find what I’m looking for.
Any suggestions and examples would be greatly appreciated?
