    I think you definitely put the actual 6pm start time. Lots of people get to weddings a little early anyway so folks will still have a chance to see the gardens. I would NOT put 5pm! Then the early-ish folks get there at 4:30 and feel silly.

    I agree that you put the actual start time of the ceremony. Between arriving early as one does to such an event and possibly time after the ceremony, I think that guests will have an opportunity to see the gardens. Fibbing about the ceremony time will just aggrivate your guests. Let them determine how much time they want to spend looking around.

    The Sunken Gardens are gorgeous! I visited there a while back. What a great place for a wedding!

    Agree with PP’s, put the time as 6 pm. You don’t want people showing up at 4:30 – which they would if you had 5:00. I always am early to weddings. It’s a pet peeve of mine to be late.
