I honestly think this dres would look great at a black tie event! I’d say just west it as is! But if you want to bling it up maybe have a belt sewn around the waist.

I think it’s beautiful, and I think the lace as is is more fancy than beading. Where would you want beading on it. The only thing I don’t like ia the belt… With the tie in the back is looks more casual. Can the belt be replaced?

In my honest opinion. . .that dress is beautiful!  Maybe some beading with help you feel a little fancier, but I wouldn’t say that it’s necessary 🙂 your dress really is beautiful.

As the others have said, your dress is lovely and appropriate for black tie already.  If you want, you could glam it up by having a sophisticated “up do”, blingy jewellery (thinking pearl and diamonds) and a blingy belt.

I love it.  I am loving the trend away from strapless and to the illusion lace necklines.  It’s perfect.

I understand where you’re coming from, but don’t let yourself get too hung up on dressing for the venue…dress for yourself and what makes you feel beautiful. Like others have suggested, swapping the belt for one that has more bling can certainly give the entire look a fancier feel.
