do you think these chairs look horrible?
the question is to cover then for like $300.00 or should i save myself the $$ and leave them alone? my wedding colors are a medium and lite blues with white and silver.
do they look that bad? i rather save the extra $$ for our honeymoon ; )
Future Mother-In-Law says they should be covered but what do you ladies think?

@HisNightOwl2014: They aren’t that bad and I ahte chair covers. If it’s important to your Future Mother-In-Law, she can pay the $300.

totally agree with pp. no need to cover but if its an issue for mil she can deal with it

I think the color of those chairs would look fine with your color scheme, and the chairs themselves are not really unattractive. (There definitely are chairs that I would want to cover, but I would not consider yours to be in that category.)

@mrsSonthebeach: thats what im saying lol

I think the chairs are fine! They’re definitely not gorgeous, but they’re not bad either.

@Brielle: thank you! i think there a neutral green and ive always felt and please no one take this the wrong way its just the way i feel ive always felt that chair covers are so sweet 16 lol

agree!! Leave em be. They aren’t too bad, and they technically go with your colour scheme, plus I’m all about saving for the honeymoon. Uncovered chairs won’t ruin anyone’s night! I’m doing the same with the ugly chairs at my venue – they are free to show their ugly selves, hahah

We opted to go without chair covers/bows, too!! We thought it was silly to waste the money on them. It was an extra $5 per chair that we saved!

they’re fine. don’t waste your money.

They’re not the best looking things but I despise chair covers, so I’d leave them as is.

Personally I think it would look better with chair covers, particularly in photos. But $300 does seem pretty steep for them. If you can source them for cheaper, I would.

I actually really like those chairs. Of course, my color scheme incorporates mint and gold, so it would look good, but I think it would look great with your blues as well. I would DEFINITELY put that money elsewhere. Chair covers would not be an improvement in this case.

Nobody gives a crap about how pretty the chair looks! The chairs are not BEAUTIFUL, but are nice for a wedding, not torn, or yellow/orange. They fit with your color scheme, people do not care how fancy the chair looks as long as they have a seat. If the chairs were super outdated, like bright yellow, or all torn, then I said cover them. This is not the case, use that extra money for your honeymoon. If your Mother-In-Law hates them that much, she can pay to cover them. I’m not covering my chairs, they are nice enough, and do the job intended, for people to sit, and still look nice for photos. Your all good girl. Good luck with your final decison.
