Bees, I am just racking my brain trying to think of an appropriate song for our entrance at our at home reception on October 22nd. Our private ceremony is in Las Vegas. My Fiance and I are more into older music (50’s – 80’s) and don’t care as much for new songs. We really like Elvis and The Beatles. We would love something that would fit our Halloween theme, but not be overly cheesy. We are definitely looking for something upbeat to get our guests excited to party. I’d love to hear any of your ideas! Thanks.

Thriller is already on my must play list, I’d like the entire song to play so everyone can dance to it.

i HATE to give this one because this is like “our song” but this one…
“Praise You” Fat Boy Slim (you tube it) the lyrics are fantastic…
we’ve come a long long way together, through the hard times and the good, I have to celebrate you baby, I have to praise you like I shouuuuld. Then that “should” part kinda skips and stuff, would be perfect timing… I think.
good Luck, seriously, Youtube it:)

We’re using Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO.I knw that’s not 50’s, but it’s so fun to dance to.
Other than that song, we’re using all beatles. Processional, recessional, first dance, daddy/daughter, mother son…all Beatles.

All good ideas. I think we might enter to Nothing’s Gonna Stop us now by Jefferson Starship. Sure, it’s a cheesy love song, but we’ve always liked it even if it isn’t Halloween themed.

OMG!! We are using Jefferson Starship!! haha that’s awesome! I figured I was being different, and lo and behold another bee has it! 🙂 I also had ideas of White Wedding by Billy Idol and Happy Together by the Turtles. Our first “everyone dances” song is Everybody Have Fun Tonight by Wang Chung. If you like 50’s, check out Quarter to Three by Gary US Bonds. Awesome song!
