I am helping my sister organize her wedding next summer in Florida. She wants a beach wedding and I think it’ll be a blast. So, beach themes will be an important part of the decoration, menu, etc. I suggested going for beach-related favors to give to the guests. This sea-glass candy sounds fun (https://somethingturquoise.com/2016/02/05/diy-sea-glass-candy-favors/) and also we found many nice favor ideas on this article. Beach favors are a good idea or it’s too ‘casual’? Thanks!

Is it a dw? I always like local stuff for dw – something specific to the area.

I just got married in Mexico 2 days ago! We didn’t get married on the sand but it was at the beach overlooking the ocean. We gave our guests personalized beach bags with sunglasses with our names on them, sunscreen with our names on it, candy, gum, a first aid kit, and a hangover kit inside. Our guests were very appreciative, especially with the hangover kit😉!

Skip things that are personalized – they get lfet behind or trashed later. I agree with getting something local if you can.

We had a beach-themed wedding and had flip flop bottle openers as favors. I think they are available in alibaba, already in packaging. We just added a sticker on the packaging to personalize it a bit. I also DIYd our napkin rings. They were not supposed to be favors but some guests brought them home.
