Maybe a massage or facial certificate for her to use after the big day?

I’m not sure what price range you are thinking? I love the idea of doing a spa day for her or something. If you’re looking for something cheaper… Have you seen the handkerchiefs on etsy where you can personalize messages? I’m getting on for my mom and fmil 🙂

A beautiful frame in a style that she would like for a wedding picture that you will provide.

@redheadedstranger:  I bought my mom and Future Mother-In-Law personalized embroidered handkerchiefs.  They were $20 each on Etsy (https://www.etsy.com/transaction/146820099?ref=fb2_tnx_title).  I wrote my own message so I think they’ll like them.  And cry – am I a terrible person for hoping it makes them cry?  Good crying of course 🙂

If you’re crafty you could always make them something.  I spent literally 30 minutes sewing on two buttons earlier today so making the handkerchiefs myself was not an option…

@redheadedstranger:  I’m getting my Mom a beautiful locket from Etsy, with a picture of her and I on the inside and an inscription that means something to both of us on the back.

@redheadedstranger:  Love those Outlander books! No ideas on the mom-gift front, though. 🙂

@redheadedstranger:  I got my mom a handkerchief that read “for tears of joy – thank you for giving me the wedding of my dreams.”  I bought it on Etsy (link to similar below).  You could use that idea to DIY something similar.  Great for the mom that’s sentimental, but doesn’t really want or need a lot of “things.”
