I’m not sure how to go about accommodating all of the stones, but here are some modern settings with marquise stones that I thought were lovely:

@Tiffani95:  Are you set on a ring? I can imagine the diamonds and sapphires set in a bracelet or necklace setting, perhaps set east-west rather than north-south.

I would do that one, or a diamond three stone ring with sapphire earrings.

I love East/West marquis rings, bezel set. They are so interesting!!!

I’ve been thinking about this post, haha.

I think having the 4 sidestones turned east-west would be really pretty, or even just the outer two.

Or have the sidestones placed as almost a split shank kind of thing

@Tiffani95: Hello from another June 1995 bride, and happy 25th stay-at-home-orders anniversary!

I saw your other posts and it looks like you got a replacement engagement/wedding ring, so this one here must be your original set. I definitely remember the sapphire side stone trend back then.

Have you considered just replacing the two sapphires with equal sized marquise diamonds to form a 5 diamond 25th anniversary ring? That would be beautiful. Also it would be inexpensive.

I see quite a few young brides on this board choosing yellow gold engagement rings, so I believe it’s coming back, same with marquise shape.

I’d make it a band and set the stones east west, maybe in a bezel setting. This way you could wear it with your new set? The diamonds look small enough to get away with it.
