I love anything with baby handprints on it. Maybe in the card put your daughters handprint, so he can look back in years to come and marvel at how small it was.

I know that seems kind of lame, but my Future Sister-In-Law has these beautiful casts of her boys hands and feet framed on the wall and they are so cute and special.

Last year, I got my husband a digital picture frame for his office.  I also made him some t-shirts with Addie’s hand and foot prints on them and the captions “My daddy’s the best, hands down!” and “I’ll follow in your footsteps…”.

This year I got him a new baby carrier and a mug with Addie’s picture on it, for his office.

I’ve seen some really cute DAD photo frames that I might do next year (they are all craft projects, but you might be able to buy something similar online); I’ll post the links:

i really like the idea of making a nice print of baby or baby+daddy that he can display. just make sure its not too ‘mushy’ for the office 🙂

if not baby-related, maybe something tech-y he wanted? new ipod/watch?
