- Wedding: August 2014
So I am having a bit of a dilemma. My fiance and I are getting married on an old farm outside with our reception afterward in a barn and I am trying to find ceremony music that is suitable for a country style wedding. I don’t want to use the traditional peices like Pachebel or Air or any of those. I am going for an oldtime appalachian feel, like slow reels or waltzes, no words, just music.
I love the song Ashoken Farawell but am having a hard time finding others like it that can be played with guitar, violin, and mandolin that are suitable for a wedding ceremony. Any help is greatly appreciated! Also, the wedding is in eastern CT so if anyone has any suggestions for bands that can play that type of music I am looking for a band too.
