@MistySoda:  Are you looking for white, ivory or colored?

What is your budget?

@MistySoda:  I was lucky enough to receive these little kitten heels yesterday as a gift from my ❤guy. They are about 2 1/2 inches. I am 5’7″ he is 6’2″ . I like when he hovers over me. Don’t get me wrong, I love a great pair of heels, but these I will not have to whine about my feet hurting after an hour!

I would maybe go with a kitten heal.  I have no idea what I want to do for my wedding shoes.. I need height so my dress won’t hit the floor and to just make me taller in general.. next problem is that I get very uncomfortable in heels very quickly so I know I need to change into something else for the reception but they still need to be tall.. ei ei ei  🙁

@MistySoda:  You need to decide if you want white, ivory or any other color before we spend time looking for shoes. Are you saying you have not chosen your BM  or decor colors yet? You could alwasy wear blue shoes to be your “something blue.”

The heels that @Mammy:  posted would  be on the outer limit to be called kitten heels. Kitten heels are usually 1.75 inches max.

There are some  beautiful flats out there

@MistySoda:  Do you have a swatch of the material from your dress? if so, take it with you when you are shopping.

Without a swatch, it’s going to be very difficult to find the correct color. Even with one, it’s not easy, especially if you are shopping online. That is one of the reasons why some brides go with a color.

Keep looking, but once you have chosen your colors, be open to a colored shoe.  You could also do a metallic- silver or pewter for a white dress,  gold or bronze would look better if the dress is ivory.

I love flats with pants, but I do think they look a bit dowdy with a wedding dress.

A kitten heel or very low wedge could give you comfort, better posture with a dress, and keep you from being taller than your Fiance.

I am almost the same height as my Fiance and this is what I will be wearing.  I got them on Zappos for $65.  They are so comfortable!
