I’m having an outdoor wedding with a vintage theme. Reception to be held indoors afterwards. For centerpieces for the reception, I’m having different size vintage glass bottles on the tables with a single flower in each bottle (3-5 bottles per table).
I have already made white flower pomanders to hang on shepherd hooks for the outdoor ceremony. My colors are navy blue, ivory/champagne and possibly gold.
I just came across gallon size glass jars and am trying to think how I can incorporate them. I wasn’t going to do much decorating outside but now I’m thinking maybe I could fill the gallon jars with water and have a floating candle or place a large pillar in each of them and have them lined up down the aisle or ??? There is also a fairly large walkway that guests will have to walk down to get to the cereomy site. HELP me with some ideas. There are 50 of these available – I’m thinking if I do 20 total (10 on each side). I would love to use them as vases and hold big bunches of flowers but I don’t have a huge flower budget to accommodate this.
Anyone have any neat ideas on how to incorporate/use these? This is the picture provided by the current owner. These are too blah for me … any ideas?
