Ok, so it’s about a month and a half after the big day and my dress is still sitting in the closet…uncleaned.
Originally, I was going to do a TTD session..but I fell in love with it on the day and just can’t bear to trash it anymore! I wanted to do this purely for the fact I do NOT want my dress sitting in a box somewhere in my basement collecting dust…
I don’t want to do the shadow box idea that has been cropping up everywhere..I just find it a little..too much.
Please help bees!! Please and thank you!!

A charity bridal shop in my town is a great place to donate a gown. They sell amazing gowns, some from bridal shops and some from brides who aren’t keeping them. The profits go to the local YWCA, which offers housing and couseling for local women, mostly African-American, who desperately need a boost in life.
The local brides shop there frequently – a dear friend of mine wore a smashing Church St. dress at her wedding in May. I think brides come from pretty far to shop there, actually. If you don’t really want to store your dress, and you want it to be loved by another bride AND help women in need, Church St. is the place to send it.
