Not knowing you personally I don’t know what kind of theme would suit our style. The place looks beautiful and very elegant to me. It almost reminds me of a southern plantation house. Most people don’t choose a theme to match thier carpeting, but I would seriously consider the sage green and peach colour scheme becuase I think it would look beautiful on that stair case!

You could use the sage green and peach, along with colors like burnt orange and gold. That would make it look more seasonal.

Lace and pearls bring to mind victorian, vintage or shabby chic. Do you like those looks?

Have you started a folder where you collect pics of weddings that you like? That’s always a great place to start.

For color palettes, go to http://www.theperfectpalette.com. Click on peach if that is your favorite and see what palettes they have devised .

It’s not always easy to pick colors more less a theme for most brides because there are so many options! I would suggest picking a theme you and your Fiance like. For example, Fiance and I love authentic Spaniard food and the culture (FI has more direct ancestors from Spain than I do). We decided on a Spain inspired wedding and using rich oranges, reds, and yellows (fall colors) with ivory accents. We are also incorporating lace in the decoration because when I think of Spain….I think of lace and my dress has lace.

Have you considered using red, gold, and ivory? It would add a nice pop of color to your lovely venue. Pearls and lace would go really nice with these colors.

A wedding “theme” is such a personal thing… it’s honestly so difficult to tell you what your theme should be without knowing you.  In terms of colors, I think soft, romantic colors such as ivories, nudes, champagnes, pale pinks, and a touch of charcoal grays would look lovely, but can’t really say without knowing you!!!  Can you give us some insight to what you see your wedding to be?

I just had my wedding at whitewater creek on May 26 and it was perfect. My colors were black, white, and pink. We kept it simple since the place was elegant enough. The outside decorations for the ceremony were all white. The inside was black and white with a little pink. We used pink uplighting also. We kept the lobby area simple with white and pictures of us.
