I just bought a groupon for vistaprint, and I’m getting my save the dates there. However, I really need a little bit more money in my cart to get free shipping. I’m trying to figure out what weird little paper products that I will need for the wedding that I can order now while I have the coupon.
I don’t want to get any of my invitation stuff yet, but I’m up for anything else.
Does anyone have any ideas of signs/paper products/anything that I should get while I’m at it? I guess I’m curious about what are the weird little signs and paper things that you forgot about until the last minute that would be really nice to have.

I used their 50% off postcard offer to create a “directions” card. You can put a little map in the middle of it with the name and contact info for the venue.
Are you going to be changing your name? If so you might want to get some new address labels in anticipation

I’d say order thank you cards. You are going to need a lot of them (trust me!) and they are a good thing to order beforehand so you have them (and can start writing them) as soon as you receive any shower/wedding gifts. You can also choose designs that aren’t necessarily “wedding-specific” thank you cards, so you can use them for other things in the future if you had any leftover. I had to re-order thank you cards from vista print twice!

You can create signs for just about anything. Candy bar or dessert bar, menus, escort cards or place cards, bathroom basket, cards for your wedding website, bar menu, drink dispenser tags, programs, paper for thank you notes, bridesmaid/groomsmen cards, any form of bunting, Mr & Mrs chair signs, card box sign, sign describing cake flavors, or confetti cones. Honestly if I were you I would just pick out a design I like and you will certainly find a use for it. The paper products are never ending.

Here are the paper products I’m making/ordering:
-Save-the-dates
-Invitations
-RSVP cards
-Small cards with our website on them
-Rehearsal dinner invitations
-Shower invitations
-Thank you cards
-Menus?? maybe… we’ll see. I hate to waste paper.
-Table numbers
Hope that helps!

I also ordered thank yous, address labels, and stickers, which I used as seals for the invites, and will also use for our thank yous. I made a “logo” of our initials, which is on everything- that way we continue to use them after the wedding.

Honestly? An invite, a reply card, and a thank you card are the only required elements. Everything else is entirely optional.
