As a destination bride, we are going to have a second reception a few weeks later, in my hometown. It’s going to be a large, not-as-formal party for 250 of our nearest and dearest. Anyway, I need to find a second invitation for this event and I need to be very price conscious – so no letterpress or custom jobs. But I’d still like the invitation to be tasteful and fun. Help!
Thanks in advance for your invitation website recommendations!

What exactly are you hoping to pay? What is inexpensive to some of us may be out of the price range of what you were hoping to spend. 🙂

Good point @mandalynn – I’d like to stay under $1 per invite, if possible.

And I’m not the crafty type. Unfortunately. I’d mess up whatever I touched – including those print-at-home types. 🙁

I used http://www.mygatsby.com
They were super helpful and not terribly expensive (I think we paid maybe $400 for the invitations, enclosure card, RSVP card w/ return envelope for 150 invites)

http://www.moiradesignstudio.com carries a ready-to-order line that i really like. you can also order all of their designs as DIY files and print them yourself to save money.
http://www.minted.com is another one i like.

my favorite places for cheap but cute invitations are http://www.weddingpaperdivas.com and http://www.shop.getmarried.com.
I am with you and no matter how easy the DIY kits say they are I know I would mess up!
Another cheap idea could be going to your local kinkos….I bet they would be able to do it at pretty good price.
