Bees, I need help! My Fiance and I want to purchase a gift for our best friend who is writing and officiating our ceremony- she lives across the country now and went through the whole process of getting ordained and then registered in our state, and she is writing our entire ceremony from scratch. Fiance and I don’t have bridesmaids or groomsmen, but I am getting a few close friends “not-bridesmaid” gifts for putting up with my insanity lately (all jewelry around $50 from etsy,) and we want to get this friend something nicer since she’s really going above and beyond, and is playing such an important part in our day.
The trouble is… I suck at shopping. I don’t wear much jewelry, and I’m finding lots of cute stuff in the under $100 range but we really do want to get her something nice. I was thinking of going to tiffany and co and getting her one of the key necklace pieces, but honestly Id love to stick to my boycott after our horrendous engagement ring shopping experience with them (and she’s not much into tiffany anyway.)
I’ve been scouring saks online and the like, but everything seems really formal or trendy OR really expensive (beautiful 18k gold drop earrings for 1k, for example…)
So if YOU had $300-$500 to spend, what would you get?!
