Where to begin? Well, I will give you all what I DO have thus far. I am looking for all tips, pointers, tutorials, pinboards, and feedback in general. I have gone off in a completely different direction than where I first started, but I am happy to say I finally have some clarity and some good starter pieces to get me to where I want to be. My budget is still very small, but we have gotten the major things out of the way such as dress and venue which I will post pictures of below. There will be 20 guests in total and our date is set for January 13th in San Francisco at the Nimitz Mansion. I have chosen mint and gold for my main colors and have decided I want the feel to be Victorian-esque but still simple, elegent, and romantic since it will be a very small, intimate celebration.
So on to the pictures!
The dress. I started off wanting all lace, demarcated trumpet, and some sort of capelet…This is where I ended up. It just worked for my body type.
The venue. The Nimitz Mansion on Yerba Beuna Island. Again, started off with a barn, very rustic and shabby chic image in mind…This is just so much more my taste!
The bridesmaids dress. Simple and easy to dress up!
Instead of doing a cake, we will be doing a teired display stand of cupcakes with a small teir for us on top.
And lastly, what is probably my favorite element to the wedding, the bouquet! This isn’t mine but we will be replicating it. I have gotten so many unique brooches that I am so excited about.
So there it is folks, my wedding in a nut shell!
What I need- HIS suit(color, style, etc)
Reception decorating ideas- it will be in the same location in a room identical to our ceremony room
Anything I need to change?
