The back of my dress is very low cut. I’m having it made more into an A-line shape rather than fitted through the hips, but I have NO clue what to wear under the dress. I would like something to help slim my hips and belly, but obviously nothing that will come up too high in the back. Ive tried spanx a few times with other dresses, but it’s either super uncomfortable or it rolls down during the night.

I’d talk to your bridal salon or your seamstress. My seamstress sent me to a local lingerie shop I didn’t even know existed that had an extensive collection of bras or all varieties in all price points. I didn’t need anything that low in the back but I did need something to support my substantial girlies without making me look obscene.

Have you ever tried any of the Flexees brand shapers? I only have the camisoles (but I wear them nearly every day – some are pretty cute, and I like the extra coverage under my button-downs for work) but the brand also makes highwaisted boy shorts with some control in them.
I don’t find the control to be as “strong” as spanx, from a “I feel like a stuffed sausage” perspective, but they do help smooth things out. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=brand_ltst_clth_sa?ie=UTF8&bbn=1036592&rh=n%3A1036592%2Cp_4%3AFlexees&sort=relevance-fs-browse-rank This gives you an idea of the products available. I buy mine from Macy’s or Kohl’s though.
