So I ordered my dress from a company online and I received it yesterday. I was so excited as it was delivered at work, I couldn’t wait to try it on. Yes I went into the bathroom at work, took my clothes off and attempted to put the dress on. WHAT????? IT DIDN’T FIT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so disappointed. I have 4 days to return it but they didn’t have a bigger size in that style and I love that dress. OK so now I have to try to lose at LEAST 2 sizes before my June wedding. I know I can do it as I have lost 75 lbs already through a weight loss clinic but with the expense of the wedding I can’t afford the clinic anymore so now I’m on my own. If I hadn’t of gained that 13 lbs back that I had already lost I would be so much closer. I really need some major support from the beehive!!!!! I couldn’t even see what the dress was going to look like as it was so small……I am very sad but I can’t let it get me down it is just more motivation to lose the weight!!!!
Help me girls!!!!!!!!

Most of the time, a dress can be let out at least one size. Definitely take it to a seamstress and let them take a look at it. Also, call the company and make sure that they don’t have one even a size bigger than what you need, because it can be altered down.
Congrats on losing 75lbs though! That’s awesome!

Aw! I’m sorry to hear your dress doesn’t fit. When I wanted to lose weight I joined Spark People. It’s like Weight Watchers but is free. You can track your calories, fat intake, and even how much water you’ve drank throughout the day. It also gives you exercise you can do, though you can customize your workout once there. I really need to get back on it myself.
It’s either that or insanity, and if you chose to do that keep the name in mind. 🙂
Also, see if the dress can be let out some. I’m sure a seamstress could do it.

I agree with a PP, I think you should shop around for another dress, unless you plan on going on a HEALTHY diet regimen. You dont want to stress yourself out just to fit into a dress.
