The necklace is ok. Nothing special in my opinion.

@Newgirl87:  I’d hold off for something you’d wear more.

I think it’s pretty. Do you think you’d wear it most of the time? I have a diamond necklace that I love and it makes me happy to wear it. I totally get what you’re saying about not being able to stare at it though – when I first got it I was looking in the mirror a lot 🙂

Up to you but personally I think it looks like cheap costume jewellery…

I don’t care for it. I like the yellow diamond part, but the wonky bow bit is throwing the rest of it off.

I think it’s a nice necklace for special occassions, but not really suitable for every day wear.  If your ultimate goal is for a lab diamond ring, I would pass on this and keep saving for what you really want.

Im much more a ring person too so I’d save for that.  I like to be able to stare at my sparkly purchases.  I have one pendant I’ve been wearing for like 10 years, and little desire to get another.  But rings?  Yes please!

Also personally not really a fan.   I prefer more classic (maybe boring) style, and that seems too fashion, trendy, or something to me.  Not something I could see being timeless.

If you are more of a ring person, go for the ring. This is cute, but it doesn’t seem like something you could wear every day. It feels a little more formal.

If you’re not much of a necklace person, I would either get a more classic/simple necklace or just go for a ring. This necklace won’t go with many things and you’re more likely to get sick of the design since it’s a bit unusual. I think you’d get a lot more wear out of it if you took the bow out.

@Newgirl87:  I would venture to guess that most people do not like my jewelry style – 90% of my fine rings are big chonkers from the ’50s and ’60s. Then I have a large collection of vintage costume jewelry…. Earrings, necklaces, bracelets…More chonk with rhinestones, lucite, Bakelite, etc. I really don’t care what anyone else thinks about them, they make me happy! If you love that necklace I say go for it!
