I’ve already decided on Bill Levkoff 323. It’s the dress all my bridesmaids llke and have tried on. The only problem now is the color!
I wanted more of a coral color, like this which is a Jcrew dress:
but for some reason they don’t offer that option. The closest thing I can find is called terracotta. This is a picture I found off craigslist of someone selling theirs. I’ve never seen the color in person.
What do you guys think? Similar enough or does it look to orangey? Anyone have any real life pics of bill levkoff in chiffon terracotta? I just don’t want to have to make everyone go try on a different dress!

They look REALLY similar to me!

Yeah, and I think it only looks darker because of the lighting. I think in better lighting it would match the coral color perfectly!

The JCrew one is a wee bit pinker. I would not describe the terracotta as coral, it’s more mauve-y

The safest thing would be to order a swatch of fabric so you can see it in person. Colors look so different on the net depending on your monitor settings

I was dead set on Bill Levkoff too (I’ve actually tried on the exact B.L. dress you pictured) UNTIL I saw the Bari Jay Tulip color. It’s gorgeous. I saw the B.L. color in person and I wasn’t a fan. It was more of a burnt orange than a coral. Just my opinion. Do you have to get Bill Levkoff? Or would you be more open to other designers?

can you go into a store that sells levkoff and look at the colour swatch chart?

@dancingfox: I actually like the terracotta color better.
