I think your eyes would pop more with a darker shadow….

Yeah I agree, I don’t think there’s enough shadow on your eyes.

I think it looks great for everyday makeup, but personally I think its too light for wedding day makeup.

I would also like to see your eyes pop a little more. But it all depends on the look you want-and the feel of your wedding.
I would also get your artist to maybe try filling in your brows a little more (with a similar colored powder-not pencil). I think a little stronger brow will make a big difference and make your eyes stand out a little more.
I agree with you, the foundation is great, you look so fresh and btw you’re gorgeous!!

I like the lips and the eye liner. I agree with the others about putting more eye shadow on. Maybe you could try a little eye brow filler to frame the eyes a little more.

I agree, your makeup looks like you’re having a normal day, going to work or something. I actually think all of it needs to pop a little more, look a little more formal (for lack of better description). It needs some highlighting and your eyes need to pop more for sure. You’re gorgeous already and I think if you can get a little more from the makeup, it’ll look great! Try taking some inspiration pictures from magazines with you next time, maybe that’ll help.

i agree with everyone – more eyeshadow all the way! your lips are lighter, so usually they do lighter lips with more intense eye or lighter eye with more intense lips. definitely ask for some highlighting along the brow bone and cheek bones to bring out those features you have. a smokey eye would definitely compliment you!

Thanks for the comments. I don’t usually wear any make-up on a day-to-day basis, so this feels like a lot to me, but I take everyone’s points on board. I have tried to add a bit of darker shadow myself to see if I can get my eyes to “pop” a bit more, what do you think? Excuse the gormless expression, i hate photos!

Yes! The darker Deff. Makes your eyes pop more…Now you just gotta figure out what color works best for you…Since you have such a brown tan looking skin i would go with something other then a light brown…What colors are you using in your wedding? Are you trying to go for a natural look?

I love the darker eyes Look at some of the new smoky eye make-up.

Hmm it really depends on what you are going for. I think that the heavy/dark makeup is a little bit much for your complexion, but that’s just my opinion. If I were doing your makeup I think I would lighten it up a little and go with a more natural/dewy look. Maybe…a brown eyeliner and light brown eyeshadow with a shimmery highlight or shadow applied to your lower brow and upper cheekbones?
But if you do want to go more of the sexy/smokey eye route, I would suggest maybe don’t go quite as heavy below your lids as you did- I think it makes you look tired…
I love the blush!

I would definitely do more shadow above the eyes than below. I think something other than brown is probably going to look best…maybe some greens or blues? Or pink could also look pretty for a different look 🙂
The foundation looks great, btw!
