Hi Bees and Happy Sunday!
I have my eye on this necklace (ignore the earrings) and will be wearing my great grandmother’s 1.5 ct diamond studs and this AA dress.
I haven’t pulled the trigger yet on the necklace, and before I do, I’d like to ask for your opinions on whether this will go or be too much with my gown.
I quickly wanted to add that I’m looking for the “V” type necklace over the round because of the sweetheart neckline of the dress.
Thanks so much!

OMG the necklace is beautiful! I think it goes very well with your dress’ jeweled belt – I think it’s JUST enough shininess. If you added in those drop earrings it might be a little much but since you’re using your grandmother’s studs, I think it will all looks wonderful.

It works, but I think with that dress no necklace may be better.

I think if the necklace was longer it wouldn’t work, but i think this should all look great with that awesome dress!!!!

It’s a little blingy for my tastes, but it’s absolutely beautiful. I would just make sure that the necklace isn’t going to outshine your heirloom earrings, which should be showcased since they’re a family piece.

I said no, the necklace is gorgeous but is very attention grabbing.. mixed with the belt on the dress it may be too much.

Ok, so after getting the opinions of you guys and then talking to my mother about it, I’ve decided to go ahead and order it ($25.00, score!).. If the seller didn’t have a 2 week return policy, I probably wouldn’t have pulled the trigger.

I received the necklace today.. In case anyone else was interested in getting one, here’s what it looks like on… My dress has a sweetheart neckline, hence me holding down my top in the middle..
🙂

It’s not a big as I originally thought it would be, which is good.. I think it’ll be perfect. The extender will allow me to be able to adjust it on the day of with the way the dress sits.. Woot!
