We went to the linen rental place today and these are the colors we looked at…*we got to take them home for two days* At first we looked at a chocolate brown table cloth but the plum didn’t go well..
Do you think this goes ok? “real pumpkins” are our centerpieces, I used good ole plastic spooky for my stand in.

I like the deep, rich purple.

I love the purple pintuck! I think the red and the orange might not be my favorite together though. Are you considering other colors?

It is very Halloween-ie, is that what you are going for?
Have you considered chocolate brown, orange and red? Still fall, but a little more grown up.

the purple with the red and orange is not very complimentary, in my opinion.
if you want to do the pumpkin, do it with a darker, richer red, and possibly some chocolate brown and bronze hues.

This friggen napkin doesn’t come off the right color in the pictures lol It is a burnt orange color. Here’s my issue…I wanted a girly color in my fall wedding- that’s where the plum color came into play- it’s just been hard to match any fall color to that plum. I LOVE that raspberry pink color but my fiance doesn’t want it to be too girly….the brown was too dark with the plum

Which is the plum? That tablecloth looks dark purple…is it actually plum?

The table cloth is “plum”- that is what it said on the color sheet- the purple was more purple. It’s silly because I thought plum was this color – my bridesmaids dresses..

I wasn’t a fan of the other options they offered- They had a chocolate brown but the “plum” napkins looked horrible, and the orange was just boring. I liked the Raspberry Pink table cloth but I don’t think it would go and would turn the wedding too girly. We love the fall colors and i wanted a girly color to go with- that’s where the plum came into play.

it sounds like you’re not loving the idea of using brown, although i agree with the others that plum and brown are lovely together. if you reconsider – chartreuse is a stunning color to add brightness to the scheme and would bring in the autumn element some, as leaves are green, normally.
i’m not sure i love that orange and purple together. sorry… good luck figuring out what to do!
my favorite pic is at the bottom… it’s a great way to incorporate autumn in the non-traditional way.

I adore the deep purple color as well. I am thinking of using it in my wedding (which is 2.5 years away!). However, I love the color combination of the deep purple with a medium gray color. With accents of brown. I know you wanted some girly colors so I don’t know if you would be crazy about the combination. Good luck!
