So I’m really into Fit n Flare with Ruffles at the Bottom. I’ve found this one I really really like but am wondering if its too crazy looking. The ruffles are pleated and are quite structured and not “flowy”. Please Give me all your advice!! Its Jasmine Collection F420 !! I’ll attach some photos with me in it.

Gotta agree with you – those ruffles are WAY too structured and look a little silly. I mean that in a nice way, of course. You look lovely in the rest of the dress but those ruffles gotta go, man. Looks like icing on a cake + grandma’s doily + curtains.
(Keep in mind that my stranger’s opinion shouldn’t mean ANYTHING… get the dress you love!)

The second picture looks gorgeous, but the first and third look like too much ruffle to me.
(I know that doesn’t make sense since it’s all the same dress, but the second picture just looks the best I guess)

I think this dress is just OK–there are definitely better styles out there with those features. Since you have so long until your wedding, I would say keep looking.

Gosh, I’ve been staring at these photos for about 2 minutes, going back and forth about if the ruffles are too much or not. I actually think the dress looks BEAUTIFUL on you, and if you love the dress, it will show!

Honestly, I think the ruffles are overwhelming and it’s a case of the dress wearing you instead of you wearing the dress. However, like shedayz said, if you love it, don’t let me or anyone else here stop you. Ultimately it’s your decision! 🙂

If you love the dress then I think you should get it… but I do agree with the majority and I think the ruffles are a BIT too much. Kinda cha-cha-cha looking IMO.

i think you should go with what makes you the happiest. the dress is beautiful, but i do agree that the ruffles seem to be so constructed.

I voted too much ruffle BUT the style of the dress really looks great on you. Have you tried the Maggie Adorea? Or something along those lines?

@blondilocks:
I haven’t tried Adorae but i did try Maggie Scarlet. It just wasn’t very flattering on me, very very pretty dress though !! 🙂

@sfsjcs: I would go with the style of dress that you tried less a few ruffles. Unless you just really like them. Im not a ruffle fan. In the end this is totally your dress and I really think this style is amazing on you!

I just thought of this, the ruffles may look really stiff because I am standing still in these pics whereas During my wedding i will be walking around the entire time and maybe they will look more graceful. Except during the ceremony I will be standing still !

@sfsjcs: This is very true. You could also take it to have it cleaned and that might relax them some as well. Good thinking!!
