Is this kind of pricing normal?! I’m paying £750 ($1150) for 2 photographers, all day, with digitally retouched HD images online as well as on CD in a tin case and a fully designed and printed photo album. I asked at my work (c. 4000 local employees) as well as reading reviews online, and the consensus was that they are the best around. I can’t understand how the pricing can be so different…
I’m not an expert on photos at all though; I like all styles, and don’t have a “vision” for my wedding.

she is ok at best – better than a newbie but I wouldn’t hire her.

I don’t have a problem with the poses and cropping. My qualm is the photographer is too reliant on editing effects to make lackluster photos ‘pop’. Maybe they are just bad at picking portfolio pieces. But as a former photojournalist myself, I WOULD NOT consider the stuff featured there as my ‘best work’. You want someone who can work more ‘organically’.
