I am seriously considering ordering this dress but I’m afraid it might be just too plain? What do you all think? I was looking for a sheath dress with lace and this had the perfect combination, I thought. Now, I’m thinking it might be too plain. I am gettng married outside surrounded by trees and water with the reception at the same location. Do you think this dress is appropriate? Do you think I should add or change anything about this dress? Thanks for helping me out with your reply 🙂

Can you link the dress? The photos are too small for me to see clearly. I do like what I can see 😉

@Mimiz: here you go…thanks again for taking the time. I tried on a few gowns (nothing poufy) and nothing felt right. This seemed to be the perfect combo of everything. Just wondering if it doesn’t have the wow factor. I admit on screen it doesn’t look like much.

@moeshawn: hey! the dress you’ve chosen is very similar in style to mine 🙂 I love the wrap details on yours! have you tried it on?
When I was dress shopping, I tried on pouffy ones to make sure that I don’t change my mind. A GF of mine was adamant she wanted something slim, slinky but ended up getting a huge gown because she didn’t ‘feel like a bride’ in the simpler gown, but I just felt like I was playing dress up in the bigger gowns and felt more ‘me’ in the simpler gown.
I think your dress is definitely suitable for the outside environment.
And once you’ve accessorised, get hair and make up, you’ll definitely feel like a bride! 🙂
here’s a pic of me in the complete package if it helps ^_^

@moeshawn: I love it. I remember browsing it online when I was looking. I don’t have the bod for it. I’d be thrilled to wear it if I did.

@moeshawn: I think it is absolutely beautiful. If I could afford a Watters gown, that one would probably me mine 🙂

@HerRoyalLeak: Your dress is stunning, truly! What a beautiful pic. I love it. and I agree with you… I knew I wanted lace and tried on a few that were all lace sheath gowns- thought I was in love- but kept thinking it was all too much. the trains were too long and although they felt ‘light’ they didn’t have that easy, breezy feeling…lol if that makes sense!
@yehyehgirl: you would be surprised how flattering the dress is on- i think becuase of the wrap it’s not super tite to your body. I don’t think you have to be stick thin to wear it- I’m certainly NOT…LOL
@mdcmod: I never thought I would have spent that much, I wanted to stay under $1000 incl alterations. i will be close to almost doubling that but I don’t feel guilty- so worth it 🙂
Thank you all for taking the time to comment- so very much appreciated!
