I’m on the hunt for some good quality, but reasonably priced ID tags for my dogs and I have now been bombarded with a ridiculous amount of websites to order from.
If any of you guys have ordered ID tags online, what places do you recommend?

@SouthernGirl: I love the non-dangle tags from boomerangtags found here: http://www.boomerangtags.com/page.php?c=collartags&k=h. They wrap around the collar rather than hanging from them so they won’t fall off. I’ve ordered them for both my dogs and my cat and they come quickly and well-done! Highly recommended.

I use these for my dogs. They go right onto the collar instead of hanging down. I hate the jingling noise and I always hear horror stories of dogs getting their tags caught in vents, crates, etc.
Edit: beaten by a minute! lol

@Westwood: LOL that was awesome. 🙂

We went to etsy for ours…there are plenty on there, but I can’t specifically recommend the place we chose as the quality looked better in the pictures than it did in person.
That said, definitely take a look on etsy…there are plenty that AREN’T the ones we bought.

@bananasareyellow: I will look into those.
@kate02121: Never thought to look on Etsy. I guess they do have everything.

We just got ours at PetsMart (they have them right by the register) and have never had any issues with them.

@Mrs.KMM: This. You can get them laser engraved the same day too (they have a machine you put the tag in).

My dogs also have something like the boomerang tags. I don’t know if it’s that brand exactly because my Darling Husband bought them but I like that they don’t make any noise. My dogs like to shake and stretch a lot!

@Mrs.KMM: We got tags for our cats at PetSmart too. The selection for cats was slimmer than the dog selection, but I’m sure you can find something. And it was really fun watching the laser engraving lol

We have a bunch of these collars that come with a free brass nameplate. They are so easy to clean and more durable than leather, and pretty cheap too!

I got mine from loveyourpets.com, I also got her an owl one from Etsy, but the ones from loveyourpets are really cheap and hers still looks great 3 years later. And they’re quick!

@AmyFarrahFowler: that’s a really cool idea! Also, I love your username!

@Mrs.KMM: we did petsmart too.
Most convenient for us. Though I’m liking that boomerang site and if my dog loses her tags for a 3rd time (ughhh) I’ll probably be trying those!
