I would use black on all of them.

You’re probably OK if the mailing addresses are in black, but it would most likely be noticable (depends on how dark the navy is).

@blessings:  I would just have it printed in black noone will notice and if they do I doubt they will care.

If it’s not too late, I would change everything to black so that it’s consistent.

I would pay the extra $32 for them to match.

@blessings:  Don’t pay extra, no one will notice! And for the kraft envelopes, print in dark gray. Black is too harsh, and navy would look weird.

We printed addresses for our invites directly onto kraft envelopes, and I chose a dark gray ink (same for our kraft paper programs). I’m having trouble posting photos today, but here’s a link to the blog post:

@blessings:  How many people are you inviting? You could do it yourself pretty easily. We sent out 100 invitations, so we printed addresses onto 100 envelopes. It really was simple… I typed every family/couple’s name and address into a Word document in a pretty font, changed the page size to 5×7 (the size of our envelopes), and fed them through the printer one by one. The dark gray worked out great- but if the company you’re working with advises against using gray, then I’d go with black.
