Hi ladies! I’m 5+3 today and worried because I’m feeling VERY little of anything. I get the very occasional throbbing or pulling feeling in my pelvis area, and my nipples are sore if I squeeze them a little. I had a few waves of nausea in week 4, but nothing since. I basically feel like my normal self and it’s making me nervous. I know I’m early and so many sites say symptoms kick in at 6+ weeks, but most of what I read from women on message boards, they are feeling stuff way before. I took a digital this morning at 5+3 and got 3+ (after still getting a 2-3 yesterday at 5+2). I just read from basically everyone they get crampy and nauseous etc and I have NO cramps at all.
I know I’m nuts, but any reassurance I’d greatly appreciate!!

I wouldn’t worry, it won’t change anything and chances are everything is fine!
I had period like cramps for the first couple weeks then nothing. Everything went away. I never had morning sickness, sore boobs or any of the ‘traditional’ pregnancy symptoms. Every woman and every pregnancy is different! It’s so hard to compare, even though I still do! Haha.
Something no one ever tells you about is all of the worry! The first 3 months were so stressful, and it has gotten a little better, but I still worry about everything and I don’t think it’ll change!
I used this website the first couple months, and it helped relieve some stress. It’s a miscarriage calculator, and it doesn’t work for everyone, but for me it did.
Something else that helped me early on, and is super super hard, stay off the internet! Stop reading horror stories! Good luck! 🙂
20 weeks now, in case you were wondering. 🙂

Don’t overthink it! I sure did and still do, but I guess we’re one of those unicorns that might get away from lack of morning sickness and other symptoms. You still have plenty of time to get them. I’m 17 weeks tomorrow and the most I’ve had was gagging when I was hungry which happened from weeks 9-10 and burping lol.
I lived for the doctors appointments to tell me I was still in fact pregnant. I didn’t believe it from my own lack of symptoms!

my symptoms didn’t really hit until about 8 weeks. At 5-6 weeks, I had some very minor cramping/stretching sensation in my belly, and my breasts were a bit sore, but mostly I felt normal. At 8 weeks the all-day nausea and exhaustion hit and stayed until 14 weeks. Even then I never actually threw up and was mostly able to make myself feel better by sleeping a lot and eating mostly carbs. I’m 22 weeks now.

Don’t worry. Some people just have very little or no symptoms.

I’m 28 weeks and I’ve never had morning sickness, or most of the regular symptoms. From 8-14 weeks I was pretty tired, and from 18 weeks until now I’ve had heartburn off and on. Baby is healthy and growing on track!

Oh dear try not to worry. I know it’s so hard not to and I worried a ton about this myself. I had few to no symptoms at all in the beginning and never had morning sickness. Now I’m 36 weeks pregnant and baby is completely healthy. Some of us are just lucky! I’m going to take it since my next pregnancy I might be sick as a dog. Good luck and try to enjoy your pregnancy 🙂

Girl you and me both: Very mild to no symptoms.
I had a previous miscarriage, before which I also had almost no symptoms. So this time around I was really hoping for more symptoms, as I would have found that reassuring. But alas, no dice.
When anxiety happens just accept it for a few minutes. Then try to remember it’s normal to feel symptoms and it’s also normal to not feel symptoms! I’m now 13 weeks and worry less (still do worry though, I’m afraid that part won’t ever go away even after baby is here so we might as well get used to the worrying, right?)

I had absolutely no symptoms of any kind with my DS, and he’s almost 3 now 🙂 He was a perfect pregnancy all the way through! Congrats, and enjoy feeling this good!

Some people have symptoms, some don’t. My mom didn’t have any with my sister and me. I am currently on w7d5 myself with twins. My symptoms didn’t kick in until end of week 6 and even then it’s been an on and off ride for me.

I wouldn’t worry about it. I’m 11+3 and have pretty much had no symptoms other than being super tired (which started for me around week 6-7ish). I went in around 7 weeks for a dating ultrasound and everything was good. I had my first appointment with my midwife at 9 weeks and she said everything looked good when she did the internal exam.
Some people just get lucky and don’t have any morning sickness. Also, since you’re still very early you could still get some of those symptoms. Sometimes they don’t come in till 6-8 weeks so you never know.

My only symptom was my growing belly. And I’m currently nursing my son 🙂 some people are just lucky!

My son was a pretty symptom free pregnancy. When I had my miscarriage I had all the symptoms up until the baby expelled from my body. Don’t worry enjoy your pregnancy

Despite what you read on message boards, 5+3 is still really early for symptoms! I still felt great then and I was on loads of progesterone, which is what causes symptoms in the first place! I think I started feeling sick around week 6. And even if you never have any symptoms, it doesn’t mean anything except that you’re lucky!

I had a post near identical to this (I think even at the same amount of weeks/days) a couple of weeks ago. I’m now seven and somethings weeks and had a scan two days ago and it was there like a little blob with a heart beat flickering away and measuring ahead (which is impossible as I know exactly when I ovulated!) I still have very few symptoms. I’ve thrown up once but I’m pretty sure that was because I ate too much and I’ve had a bit of mild nausea/bloating and I swap between feel starving and not hungry. But no proper full on symptoms and these have only stared properly in the last week. As far as the normal sore boobs/tiredness/sickness/gas/bleeding gums ect that you read so much about, yeah none of that after the first week! My energy levels are higher then pre pregnancy!
So ignore what’s normal as half the time it isn’t normal!
