Long story short: I’m already married and we’re looking for a Reform Rabbi or Cantor to perform a quicky interfaith ceremony for family later this year in Philadelphia. Unfortunately we keep receiving quotes that are close to $1000. If I could afford to pay someone $1000 for 30 minutes of “work” I would also be able to afford to take a honeymoon – which I’m not. I also don’t feel it’s morally right for a religious figure to make it financially impossible for someone to get married.(Yes, slight vent).
I was wondering if anyone out there had any personal recommendations? I came across a couple links to resources on here but they turned out to be super expensive as well. I’ll even take a nondenominational recommendation if you have one. Any info is appreciated! Thanks!
