Hello! first post 🙂
So my spoon to be fiancé and I took a risk last night and bought a ring off of ebay. Now that I’m commited to it I’m beginning to worry about how it might look in person. It’s a delicate ring, split shank with .28 centre diamond and a total diamond weight of .45. It’s listed as excellent cut, E colour and VS2 clarity. Does this sound like it will SPARKLE? Sparkle is my main concern, haha.
We bought it mainly because I tried on a ring very similar to it in a Rox store which was H, SI2 and it was stunning but twice the price of what we eventually paid! This is what the one we bought looks like according to the seller but due to the lighting it’s hard to get an idea of how it might shimmer.
Hopefully the images work! Any thoughts? Anyone with similar rings and pics of them in day/sun light or incandescent lighting? 🙂

On it should sparkle just fine!
mine is ideal cut, g color, vs1, 1.35 carat.

I think it should have excellent sparkle! Especially being an ‘excellent cut’. Mine is about the same size center stone, just without the halo (which should definitely help with the sparkle!) and mine sparkles like crazy even though its on the smaller size!

It should really sparkle! The excellent cut is what will bring the light from the bottom of the diamond and help reflect the light really well! The clarity is also great, so there won’t be any markings getting in the light’s travel path! My ring is pretty similar, .7 ct, ideal cut, VS2, but it’s a J in color! Yours will have less yellow reflecting from it, but the sparkle should be quite similar.
