    @woodwindwaker:

    I’ll be honest, the only sash I like on here is the one that rosieposie1112 is wearing.  I’m sorry!  I like your idea to add color and I love purple.  I do love the way your waistline is without a sash.  Possibly something sewn in would look better.

    Also, have you considered adding color in something else, like different gloves if you want to wear gloves?

    @woodwindwaker: Just ended up blending it in with the corset since there was so much detail in the back already. Even the straps from the corset we tucked in.

    I think your dress would look better over a big petticoat so it was more bouffy, you could die the petticoat purple. Dont like the gloves, the dress has lovely fetail dont take away from it.

    I actually prefer it without the sash! I think the sash hides the box pleats (which I LOVE!)

    This is where I bought the brooch I added to my dress. It was only $5. They had gorgeous stuff. (I also got pins for the mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and groomsmen to keep florist costs down and made nice keepsakes for them). http://www.fabulousbrooch.com/wedding-brooches/wedding-brooch-bh6135.html

    I think a thin sash that doesn’t cover the pleats would be perfect, A brooch in front and back to cover any seams and maybe a bigger bow in the back like the red inspiration pic you have. I would skip the tails or keep them shorter so they don’t drag once you bustle the train.

    @woodwindwaker:  I really want to see what you have done with this dress. I need to do the same to my dress. But the pics in the first post arent loading. I’ve tried from 2 computers already 🙁
