Need some advice on my wedding day look 🙂 I think I have everything figured out except the shoes. I’ve heard that Badgley Mishka shoes are rough on the feet, but Kate Spade heels are super comfy. Can anyone confirm?
I feel that my look is super blingy (You can’t really tell in the picture, but there are sequins in the lace of the dress, so it shimmers all over!) and I’m not sure if I should tone it down with more “plain” shoes or keep the sparkle going. If ever there was a day to be over the top, I guess this is it! 🙂
Allure 2667 in Light Gold
Cathedral Length veil similar to this in light gold
These earrings from Rent The Runway
Now… Which shoes would complete the look?! Totally open to other suggestions as well 🙂

The first Kate Spade sandals; these ones from BHLDN could work also :

I like the second ones, just the right amount of bling. I love your veil too

I’m a bow kinda gal, so the first are my favs….but your dress has bling, and so does your veil, so the 2nd pair is the best fit for your ensemble. I’m not a fan of glitter, so I wouldn’t vote for the third.

I can see why you’re torn!! Tough call! I love the look you have put together and each of these shoes will go well. I too love the bow, but I also love glitter shoes. I feel like the glitter wouldn’t be tooo much because its only a strappy shoe, not like a full coverage shoe. I think I lean towards the glitter shoe to balance out the bling at top of your dress w/ earrings and to complement the glitter in the veil at the bottom of the cathedral veil.. Ah! What are you leaning towards?

First & foremost, that dress was made for YOU! Its beautiful & looks fabulous on you. I love the cathedral veil…that’s the only way to go! And the earrings are the PERFECT touch…classy & very similar to the ones I wore, so of course I love them. Ok…shoes…one thing to know is that the only time your shoes will really truly be seen is in photos. You’ll most likely have pictures taken of the shoes not on your feet…maybe with your bouquet & jewelry laying with them, or some kind of creative photo. It’s pretty common & it makes for a real cute pic. So, although they aren’t showcased on you, like shoes normally are in a more regular outfit, you do want to make sure they’re cute. As far as the different brands & comfort go, everyones opinion is going to very. I personally wouldn’t ever call a heel comfortable unless it has a platform, but some ladies can wear a 5 inch stiletto all day. So you’re just going to have to find a shoe that has a height that you find comfortable. I know that I can never wear higher than a 4 inch w/a 1 inch platform. So if it doesn’t have a platform, I need to look for a 3 inch. I don’t like anything under a 3 inch bc I don’t lije the way they look. Anyways, I don’t think taking somebody else’s advice on comfort is in your best interest. I don’t think you’re going to find a “comfortable” shoe bc the cutest ones are never comfortable hahaha! So I rambled a lot…I think the 3rd pic (sparkly kate spades) are the cutest…the Badgley Mishka shoes look uncomfortable bc they’re a really high heel! I do like the 1st kate spades, but i like more of a strappy look shoe with wedding dresses, that’s why I chose the 3rd pic. Good luck & I can’t wait to see your wedding pics on here hint hint!

love the bow back ones. I would honestly pick whichever is most comfortable. They are all special and look bridal so it’s really just your preference x

Wow I personally love the 1st Kate Spades (enough that they’re going on my possibles list), although with your dress I vote for ‘keep the bling going’ with the glittery Kate Spades. I’m not the hugest fan of applique bling on shoes – I think they can look a bit out-dated, plus your dress looks like it has a lot of layers at the bottom and I wouldn’t want your shoes to pull on any netting underneath. I’m also not a fan of the platform. Hahah!

LOVE the Kate Spades. I too wanted comfortable heels, but I was obsessed with the sparkly bow on a lot of Betsey Johnson’s bridal shoes. I bought a pair of Angela Nuran’s off of Tradesy, and put a bow on them. They are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn.

Wow, I’m in love with your dress, it’s beautiful! I love the colour on you and I’m a fan of Allure, especially their lace dresses. You’re right in not worrying about going over the top as it’s the one day you can. I like the first two pairs you posted. Have you considered a bright pair like in blue or red like some brides do? What are your wedding colours?

Although I love the look of the second ones, I can personally confirm the comfort of Kate Spade shoes. However, for my wedding, I picked a pair of Betsey Johnson heels, and they are super comfortable. So, maybe keep looking?
Btw, you look gorgeous!

you are gorgeous and your dress is stunning on you!!!!! I like 1 and 3 best. Either go for the bling all the way or keep it simple and classic like 1. Not as into shoes with appliques and i like the Strappy look of 3 or sleek shape of 1 best.

Thank you ladies so much for chiming in!
@CatLady: Wedding colors are rich berry tones (deep purples, pinks, and burgundies) with blush and gold accents
@fl0werbee: I’m torn! I think I have eliminated #2. I am leaning toward Kate Spade because I have gotten so much feedback about how comfortable they are and I love her. I have also been looking into Jimmy Choo as well. I love the 3rd choice, but I’m worried about the gold glitter clashing with the silver beading at the top of my dress and on the veil, though. With that said, I think those are the best in terms of shoes that I would be able to wear again!

Ah wow, how about pink / blush pair of shoes? Have you considered colour opposed to Ivory etc?
