@pigment80:  Do you usually wear heels? What kind of heel do you like? Standard pumps? Peep toes? Sandals? i tried to pick ones that weren’t too tall since you said you kind of wanted to go barefoot.

okay i know this is a little out there but i think this shoe would be amazing with that dress

I know you mentioned wanting a heel, and these are flats, but they are extremely comfortable, and I thought of them because my gown also has scalloped lace on the hem, and the flowers look super cute peeking out from the lace when I walk:

The gold “panna cotta” color would work with this dress.

They are also well within your price range, especially with the free shipping and returns.

@pigment80:  I would just order them and give them a try with the dress. They have free shipping and free returns, so I ordered several pairs in a range of sizes (I have wide feet and never know quite which size will work with a given style of shoe) and just returned the ones I didn’t need. Zappo’s also has free returns, I tried a bunch of pairs from them that ultimately didn’t work and I ended up returning them. It was nice to be able to try them out risk-free.

@pigment80:  those shoes are really cute! I can see how you would think they’re too matchy matchy but if they f
eel right I would just go with that.

As for the patent I think it would go fine, BUT if you’re going for that more soft romantic feel I would do something satin, or even velvet.

These would be really pretty since they have that really soft chiffon-like fabric.

Also if you decide to spend a little more, Badgley Mischka has some really great shoes in blush, ivory and even a light blue πŸ™‚
I like this one for your dress

@pigment80:  you can DEFINITELY wear blush. If your dress is ivory like it looks, not  white, i’d stay away from more silvery blushes and go with some more golden, or a true blush. if you love badgley mischka I would check 6pm.com. I’ve found some great deals there in the past πŸ™‚

@pigment80:  You said you were getting married outdoors in the grass. I would suggest something without a pointy heel. Reason being, because if the ground is moist the heel might dig in the ground. I’d actually recommend two different shoes, one for the wedding ceremony and a different one for the reception.

I can not stress enough how much I LOVE the Chinese laundry shoes sarajean posted! I normally don’t even care for that style of shoe but in my head I can see it with that dress!!

It would be so freaking fashion forward! (a moment of alliteration!) lol

Now I wish they would go with my dress!!!
