I am getting married this Saturday (eek!) but I have just a little problem and wanted to see if anyone had suggestions.
I am wearing a scalloped neckline, strapless gown. When I picked up my dress a few weeks ago, it fit like a glove. No alterations needed. But today I went to my mom’s just to try it with my shoes, and now the bust is just a little too big. Not to where my boobs are falling out or anything, but there’s a gap. The problem really is, the middle scallop applique just kinda flops inward when it doesn’t fit 100% right. There is no time for alterations, so do you think double stick tape would work? Any suggestions are much appreciated.

I think double sided tape would work, but you could also get a more padded bra to fill out the bust.

Double stick tape works great! They use it in beauty pageants all the time to hold things where they should go. I believe there is a special kind made to do this with skin. I bet if you call a dress shop they can tell you where to get it. =)

Thank you ladies! I think I will get the double stick tape and a padded bra and hopefully one or both will work on the big day! I am not too worried about it, but the details at the top just kinda looked sad all flappy. haha.

Hollywood Fashion Tape. I love this stuff! You can buy it anywhere, including Victoria’s Secret and JoAnn’s Fabrics.

Thanks Babyboo!!! I am going to hit up JoAnn’s tomorrow. There’s one right by my house, which makes me very happy!

Quick! Geth the emergency chocolate out! The best way to solve this problem is to put back on that pound or two you lost due to bridal stress!
