I’m pretty sure this post is my third, forth or even fifth about job search. I’m so bummed that I haven’t been able to get anything real and permanent for the past 2 years ish. I recently -out of the blue- got an interview and the place of my dreams which I sent my application almost over a year ago. After the interview I sent my thank you notes and heard nothing for almost 2 weeks. Then I get this email:
“Thank you for taking the time to interview with us. The commitee has discussed your qualifications and assessed fit with our firm. We have passed on our thoughts to the directers. They will make a decision soon. You will be contacted as soon as a decision is reached. Thank you for your time and interest.”
I never got an e-mail like this before -usually it’s just quiet and I assume nothing happens. Is this a netral, negative or positive e-mail? How should I respond to it? Thank you alll!
