I agree with you that the front is lacking… I also agree that its due to the fact that your hair couldn’t hold the curl.  I think your solution of putting curl defining cream and letting it air dry might be best.  I would also recommend a product with a light/med hold to it so that your hair has more "grip" to it – that helps when doing formal styes.

I think if she could get it to curl more your that will make it a lot better!

Will they let you go in for another trial with your hair in its natural curly state… to see how you like it after that?

If I were you I would just do a part in the very front and no have a part going back… does that make sense?

That mouse seems like it would work… its a strong hold so I would only use a small amount so your hair is still workable and not too stiff.

Good Luck!

I see what you mean.  The problem seems to be that you dont have enough "pouf" it the front.  it seems to lie flat.  I agree with a previous poster about doing a part only in front and then combing the rest back for a poof.  Have her tease the hair underneath as well.  Right now it’s looking a little librarian-y.

I love the back, but agree the front is lacking also… I would so a smoother laying bang in the front. I think the curl in the front it was is throwing me 🙂

Try the Redken Thickening Lotion 06 Body Buildier – Its great for textured fine hair to give control and shine, definition and body.

I think sticking with your original plan but Not having your part go all the way back.  Instead allow it to have more movement with the curls and give more body.  I would keep the front a wavy soft pull back- like your sisters.

I think the part should be at an angle like your MOH’s Sister’s ,but not go as far back. The part should stop at the middle of the top of your head and then the rest can just be pulled back.  that would give you more body (not pulled back smooth, but with those waves like your MOH’s sis)

Its too smooth. The other girl’s hair has way more texture in the front and not so tight. I’m almost 100% positive thats the problem.
