Inspired by another thread, I’m still debating on which hairstyle will go with my dress.
Here’s a quick overview on my hair:
- it’s currently between the shoulders and the bra line. I’m thinking of letting it grow to the bra line.
- have naturally curly hair (it’s super curly and tangles easily when it’s wet) but usually wear my hair straight
- currently have light brown with blonde highlights (think Jennifer Lopez’s highlights) but I tend change my color every 6-9 months, usually to chestnut brown.
So here’s me in the dress. Yes, it’s Adorae! Plus, I’m planning to wear a cathedral veil for the ceremony.
So here’s my choices:
Loose and wavy (parted in the middle) like Maria Menounos
Straight like Sofia Vergara (in other words, how I usually wear my hair)
Messy updo like Jennifer Lopez
Messy sideswept like Audrina Partridge
Neat low updo like Sophia Bush
Or wavy down-do on one shoulder like Jessica Alba
Feel free to throw in some extra suggestions! Two styles I will not do are braids and updos that are “prom” and less “wedding”.

I like the sophia bush pic.

@BeeRod527: My first choice would be Jessica Alba. Second choice would be Audrina. I am not a fan of the straight looks I just think the wavy looks more romantic! You look great in your dress!

I like Jessica Alba or Sophia Bush, both very pretty. Here was my inspiration pic…have you considered half up and half down?
Oh and what color did you get the Adorae in?

@Treejewel19: It’s white. I would’ve consider the ivory one but I thought white pops more with my complexion.
I like Adele’s hair, But if I consider the half-up look, I’ll like to look like Ashley Greene in this pic.
However, I really need to grow my hair out for that (not putting extensions on).

I don’t think pin straight hair is flattering so I would suggest avoiding that. I like Maria’s or Jessica’s best.

I like Jessica’s the best. When I first saw the picture of you in your dress, that is the exact style I immediately imagined 🙂

Thanks everyone for your suggestions so far. I am concern if I can pull off the Jessica Alba GG look. My hair isn’t long enough. To have a better idea, here’s a couple of recent pics of my hair so you see how it looks like when it’s straight and when it’s wavy.
(note: I only blurred my face on the wedding dress pic because I don’t want my Fiance to see me in it. I know, it’s silly!)
Wavy (I did it myself)

Low curly side bun, with a flower on the opposite side of the bun!

Alba!!! The dress is gorgeous on you and with a long veil. Yes!:)

Oh and Remy extensions if you need good ones to help with the length. They are clip on ones.

@BeeRod527: I like the Sophia Bush or Audrina Partridge hairstyles best. When I saw the dress and read your description of your hair, I pictured something very similar to those. After seeing the other pictures you posted, I definitely think something like that would be gorgeous on you!

Looking at the styles, I am thinking how would it look like with my current length. So here’s additional hairspirational examples with my current length:
The Vintage Down-Do (aka Jessica Alba’s Golden Globes look, courtesy of Carrie Underwood and a random model)
The Neat Side Swept Low-Updo (aka Sophia Bush’s hair, with more pics of Sophia, Sarah Hyland, and Eva Longoria)
And the messy side-swept (aka Audrina’s hair, featuring Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and a random model)
The only thing I hope to accomplish is it doesn’t take more than an hour to do!
