Let’s see, Darling Husband has schooled me on gaming snacks so let me see what he would like…

It depends on if they’re junk food eaters or healthy eaters.  That 7 layer taco dip stuff goes over well, but you buy the “Scoops” chips, so the dip doesn’t fall off the chip.  DH eats bagel bites, carrots and ranch (the kind that you mix with a container of sour cream), and pieces of cut up fruit.

Basically the criteria is this: no utensils needed.  Minimal mess.  And if it requires more prep than throwing it in the oven, it’s out.

Definitely cupcakes. No frill, delicious cupcakes. Always a hit with my man’s guy friends.

Stock up on a variety of beers, bar mix (you can get a big container at costco!), mini sandwiches, chips, dip, etc.

My Fiance and his friends especially like sandwiches when they’re gaming because they’re filling and not messy (I make a salami & mozzarella one, and PB&J usually), as well as nachos, bagel bites, chips and dip, fruit like grapes that you can eat with your hands, mini quiches, mozz& proscuito, chicken nuggets, etc.

As a gamer (my Fiance and I met playing WoW), I can tell you I don’t want hand held foods that get my hands greasy or sticky.  I personally like any sort of mini wrap, chips and dip (like buffalo chicken dip), and things in a pastry crust (like mini meat pies, bite sized tarts, etc).  Cookies are always a favorite, as well as anything bite sized and on a stick.  Aside from that, lots of napkins and chilled glasses for the milk.  You’re Fiance is going to be a happy guy.
