Well, my husband and I are doing something similar. We never had the whole wedding thing, just celebrated two years of marriage and are now planning a June cocktail celebration! We’re doing beach themed and are having the ceremony outside at a yacht club , then moving indoors with the reception. Now, I’m the same in that I didn’t want the whole sit down dinner thing, cause especially since we’re already married, we don’t want the formality and time wasting, we just want to party with our friends and family and have a good time. Soooo, we’re also having three stations with food, but we’re leaving them out all night till the last hour for dessert. That way people could do both, eat and dance. They could sit down to eat, then the music will start, and it’ll be like a 4 hr long cocktail party of constant movement. They could go back for more whenever they want.

OR, you can just have the food out for an hour after you get there, and after they last table get their food, start the dancing music so people can be up on the dancefloor if they’d like and yuo’d probably have a trickle of people going back for seconds, then take the food away all together and finish partying!!!

IDK, just my opinion in my head ๐Ÿ™‚

Have fun!!

I don’t have any sage advice for this one… but I’m just impressed that you know 325 to invite! That’s huge!
