Hello hive! Mr. Xray and myself are in need of your help once again. We have started to (barely) look at honey moon destinations, and are in need of some advice. We are 24 & 26 very active (love to snorkle, scuba, kayak, rock climb ect) the one big requirement for Mr. Xray is that it is a place he can go surfing, and mine is some where I can get my new Passport stamped. Love to hear your stories about your honeymoons if you have or your plans if you havent and just basic $$$ we have a heatlhy budget and just trying to get a good feel of what is really some where we should look at or places to just pass over. Thanks for your help bees!

I guess Australia is the first international surfing destination I think of but what about Europe? We went tot he Atlantic coast of Spain last spring and the waves were great. We saw quite a few surfers and I wanted to rent a board so I am sure he can surf and you can get that stamp. I know there are better European surf spots off the atlantic coast of France but I just loved the area and people in Spain and the food was delicious. We also took a day trip to Gibralta which is technically British (second possibility for a passport stamp if you ask) and the contrast in culture was so interesting. Literally it was like being in the UK even though we were fully surronded by Spain.

We’re going to Australia and New Zealand for our honeymoon, we’re both very adventurous like ya’ll – if you can afford it then definitely check out those two countries!

@MsVoyageur: Yea we were looking into Austrailia, looks amazing! I know the flights arnt cheap but Mr. Xray and I got really smart at the begining of the wedding planning. We already had a very healthy savings for the wedding so we got a US Bank Flexperks card with the travel benefits and have put every wedding expense so far on the card and paid off imediatly with our savings to pay for our flights. we are right now have enough for 1 (and almost a half) flights to hawaii and some of the big purchases (food & alcohol) havent been added so were hopefull even if we get one ticket free its a big savings!!
@slicey19: Oooo didnt even think of that!! Thanks for the reccomendation I have been longing to get over to europe. Before we got engaged we were planning a trip to Ireland next summer (well now its moved back another year due to the wedding) so would be really fun knowing now there are great surf spots for him! Thanks for the suggestion!

Costa Rica? I learned to surf there, and there are TONS of adventurous activities.

I was about to say Costa Rica as well! It has a mix of nature and adventure and it’s somewhat affordable.
New Zealand would be awesome too though!
One more option is Bali! I’m originally from indonesia so if you have any questions about Bali feel free to ask away 🙂
